How Do I Become an NP:J Participant? The NP:J Teacher and Student Applications are both two-page documents which include a Letter of Understanding. Applications must be postmarked by Monday, November 21, 2011 for early decision and by Monday, January 9, 2012 for regular decision. For the early decision deadline, students' signed applications, deposits, and any scholarship applications must accompany the teacher's application. For the regular decision deadline, students' signed applications, deposit plus first installment, and any scholarship applications must accompany the teacher's application. Each school group's lead teacher will be contacted by mail approximately three weeks after the application deadline with an NP:J welcome packet informing the lead teacher that his or her group has been selected to participate in the program.
