In the preparation phase, students work with the teacher via distance-learning using
a specially designed curriculum that engages students in thinking about their upcoming
study tour adventure.
During the study tour, students go beyond the usual "summer vacation" itinerary.
Homestays, school visits, and customized "study days" provide an opportunity
to experience daily life and develop a meaningful understanding of Japanese culture.
After returning home, students continue to work with the teacher to reflect on their
"new perspectives" of Japan.
