Rates New Perspectives: China 2010-2011 Student cost to participate in New Perspectives: China is $3,995. Your New Perspectives: China experience will include the following: Round trip air transportation to and from China. You will depart from the closest available major airport to your home, and arrive at Beijing Capital International Airport in Beijing. You will leave China from Shanghai Pudong International Airport and return to the same airport from which you departed in the United States. Surface travel to and from lodging sites and airports in China. Accommodations in Beijing, Xian, and Shanghai. Breakfasts and dinners will be included. Lunches are not provided. All train and bus travel expenses as per the tour itinerary. All entrance fees to special attractions as per the tour itinerary. Pre-departure study and orientation lessons. These lessons, based on the study theme your school chooses, will help you and your school group focus on the areas you most want to learn about. Special presentations on each of the NP:C study themes. Exploration of Beijing, Xian and Shanghai region. Cultural exploration activities while you are in China which are related to your study theme. Homestay with a Chinese family which includes breakfast and dinner. Visits to a Chinese school. Follow-up activities to be done upon your return to the United States. These activities are designed to help you reflect on your experience and articulate your "new perspective" of China.
