Menomonee Falls High School

June 17, 2005 /Arrived at Narita airport

Menomonee Falls is in Tokyo! They look very genki!

During Study Days in Tokyo

On the way to the Imperial Palace Gardens, the Menomonee Falls group stops at a water fountain park. A variety of fountains provided a relaxing atmosphere.

Here the group reads a bit about Edo Castle (the Imperial Palace) at the Otemon entrance.

The group ventures toward the gardens. In the background is a former guard station where samurai would have been protecting this entrance to the castle.

And the Shobu - in full bloom - in the Imperial Palace Gardens.

Two Menomonee students diligently check their emails. All of the other students have gone to bed...so please do not expect emails from the rest of the Menomonee group at least for another day.

Borstad-sensei reviews the days study tour plan. Each of the Menomonee Falls' students has prepared a short report on specific sites to share with the entire group.
