June 11, 2005 / Study Day 1

Westwood makes a stop for a group shot then off to Meiji Shrine just behind the Olympic Center.
Westwood begins their day with a walk to the nearby Meiji Shrine. The students learn about some Japanese history along the way. The early Meiji period has been made famous in the U.S.by the movie, The Last Samurai.


Here the Westwood group convenes to begin discussing for the next study day. This room is also the room where participants can check their emails.

 
June 12, 2005 / Study Day 2


The Westwood group members who are not pictured here departed early to visit International Chirstian University (ICU) in Mitaka. This half has arrived in Mitaka to catch up with the others.


Here the students are waiting to board a bus to take them to the ICU campus.

June 13, 2005 / Leaving for Host school


Departing for Host Schools which are Fukuoka Jogaku Gakuin High School in Fukuoka Prefecture & Rikkyo Niiza High School in Saitama Prefecture.
