The "Torii" (gate) behind the Alicia R. Chacon students marks the entrance to a major oasis of greenery in central Tokyo, Meiji-jingu.

It was VERY HOT in Tokyo, so the Shinto ritual of sipping cool water before entering a shrine was most welcome.
