Some Photos from the Kyoto Walking Tour conducted by Professor George Hlawatsch from Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka. Professor Hlawatsch is the fellow in the baseball cap.He has been walking with NP:J participants for many years now. Hear no evil, Speak no evil, See no evil monkeys at Koshin-do otherwise known as the Three Monkey Hall. Just before entering the Kiyomizu Temple complex, students purify themselves by rinsing their hands with cold water from the well. Who can lift this iron staff?

A Kyoto street scene along the walking tour Were some lessons learned at Three Monkey Hall? These three streams of water originate from a spring above...drinking from this is said to make one prudent and wise. At the final destination of the walking tour, Yasaka Shrine, the NP:J participants pass by a myriad of stalls selling trinkets and snacks.
